Where We Work

Globally Present, Locally Driven

Our roots stem from a private sector agribusiness in America’s heartland. Our projects, partnerships and local insights cross continents. These factors steer how we work to strengthen global agricultural markets. But, you don’t have to take our word for it. Learn more about individual projects below.

Resilient Agricultural Market Activities Beira Corridor

Boosting farmer ag productivity and climate resilience

This USAID-funded Feed the Future project is to supporting farmers to improve on-farm practices to increase agricultural productivity, profitability and resilience to irregular weather.

Legumes are nitrogen-fixing crops that have a long list of benefits to farmers. These low-cost perennial plants replenish soil health, repel unwanted pests and provide an additional source of nutrition through the beans and green leaves. That’s why RAMA-BC is educating maize farmers in Mozambique about the importance of intercropping fields with legumes through model family farms and behavior change communications campaigns. In the face of increasing drought frequency, these crops also add a new source of nutrition to household diets.

Through its Farmer-to-Farmer mechanism, RAMA-BC also fields high impact international technical volunteers to support host agricultural institutions.
