Veterinarians make an impact on the lives of animals big and small, but people may not realize just how much of a positive impact they have on humans, too. We can find veterinarians in many corners of our lives, from veterinary offices to the Ministry of Agriculture, from diagnostic veterinary labs to international border crossings. On World Veterinary Day, the USDA-funded Georgia Safety and Quality Investment in Livestock (SQIL) project, Land O’Lakes Venture37, and the Georgian Farmers Association celebrate veterinarians in Georgia and around the world for their contribution to keeping animals, humans and food healthy and safe.
