Driving transformative change in the Tanzanian dairy sector through Pay-for-Results prize competitions.

2019 – 2024

The AgResults Tanzania Dairy Productivity Challenge Project strengthens the ability of smallholder dairy farmers to increase productivity by improving access to and proper use of quality inputs. Carried out in the coastal regions of Tanzania, the project targets private sector competitors that can successfully deliver input bundles and advisory services to smallholder dairy farmers, driving solutions and increasing access to critical dairy inputs including parasite control, improved nutrition products including fodder, vaccinations, and artificial insemination. The project has awarded over $1.4M USD in cash prizes to competitors over the course of the first three years of competition.
